As we continue to innovate and improve our products, we are thrilled to announce that, as previously mentioned in our roadmap article, we have recently completed a full SafeKey rebranding process internally.
This process included the creation of a professional and recognizable brand style for the entire SafeKey brand and updates to the names of the different SafeKey models.
One of the main goals of the rebranding process was to create a more premium brand look that exudes trust and professionalism, as well as to better align the names of our SafeKeys with the value and quality of the product and broader ecosystem.
We have carefully considered the feedback from our community and users, and we believe that the new branding will help us enhance the user experience and overall image of SafeKey.
In addition to the rebranding, we also will introduce new prices. We had to make the decision to adjust the prices of the SafeKey models due to the increasing cost of components and manufacturing. We want to assure you that the price changes are necessary in order to maintain the high quality of our product and continue to improve the hardware and add new features over time.
However, early and loyal community members need not worry, as they will still have a few weeks to purchase SafeKeys at their current prices. We are not increasing prices immediately.

Limited Offer For The Safe Haven Community
To show our appreciation and introduce our new branding, we are offering our loyal community one last chance to purchase a SafeKey at its current price before the prices are increased permanently and the new branding is rolled out.
This is a limited time offer, so if you want to take advantage of it, we encourage you to act quickly. We are planning to launch the new SafeKey website and webshop in the second half of January, and after that, the prices will increase permanently. We will keep you updated on the exact launch date as we get closer to it. In the meantime, take your chance to get yourself some SafeKeys at current prices.
Currently the SafeKey FIDO2 costs €30. This model will be rebranded to SafeKey One, and the price will be increased to €35.
SafeKey FIDO2+SSDP currently costs €45. This model will be rebranded to SafeKey Pro, and the price will be increased to €60.

The Future Of SafeKey
We understand that the price changes may come as a surprise, but as already mentioned, they are necessary in order to maintain the high quality of our product and continue to improve the hardware and add new features over time.
We are committed to providing our customers with the best possible security solutions, and believe that the rebranding and future plans will help us achieve that goal.
In addition to the already known enhancements, we have a number of other exciting plans for the future of SafeKey.
This includes, as you already could read in our roadmap article, the launch of a new SafeKey website that will provide in-depth but comprehensible documentation about the primary use cases for different audiences, as well as an updated webshop based on the updated brand style and positioning of the devices.
We will also be updating our documentation to make it easier to find and comprehend the different SafeKey models and bundles to help users better understand the different use cases and options available.
We are excited to continue providing our customers with the best possible product. We believe that this event is a great opportunity for those who have been considering purchasing a SafeKey, but never did to date.
SafeKey Models
SafeKey One and SafeKey Pro
As part of the SafeKey rebranding, we are introducing clear names for the two different SafeKey models currently available. SafeKey One is a strong two-factor authentication device that uses FIDO2/U2F technology to protect your accounts against password or phishing attacks. SafeKey One makes you unhackable.
SafeKey Pro, on the other hand, contains both FIDO2/U2F and SSDP technology. This means that SafeKey Pro offers all of the benefits of SafeKey One, but it also has custom internal storage that allows you to store shares of encrypted backups and inheritance plans via Inheriti®. SafeKey Pro is literally unique in the world.
These different SafeKey models will help us to explain the different use cases more clearly and guide users more effectively. We believe that the new names and clear explanations will help users to choose the right SafeKey for their needs.
SafeKey Mobile
SafeKey Mobile, a mobile alternative to the custom internal storage of the SafeKey Pro device, has been eagerly anticipated by our community. Until now, this solution was known as Inheriti® Mobile, but we have decided to rebrand it as SafeKey Mobile. This new name makes more sense because it is an alternative to a feature of a SafeKey device (the ability to store encrypted data shares via Inheriti®).
We will soon share a preview or demo of SafeKey Mobile.
SafeKey Bundles
We noticed in the past that it’s not always clear for people where and how to start with a SafeKey device. There’s currently a lack of information and guidance available about what use cases need which SafeKey model and how many device(s).
We’ll prepare simple bundles to remove this barrier.
SafeKey X
SafeKey model X will be the next generation of SafeKey devices and will support USB-C + NFC technology. This will make it easier to bring more of our solutions to mobile.
