Development Update 2024/06

Back to news

Inheriti® 2.0 is nearing its launch. Every piece is falling into place, marking significant strides towards unveiling our enhanced product. The process of innovating and refining has been both challenging and also very rewarding, and we are excited to share the latest developments with our community.

China Patent

It is with pleasure that we announce a major milestone in our journey with Inheriti®: the approval of our patent application (CN111199045A) by the China Patent Office. The patent holds 34 claims related to methods and systems for cryptographic private key management for secure multiparty storage and transfer of information. This confirmation marks a crucial step in securing intellectual property rights for Inheriti® in the region. Currently, we are in the process of finalizing paperwork and awaiting notification to global authorities regarding the patent’s approval. With the approval in China, the Hongkong patent application will commence automatically, further bolstering our intellectual property framework.

Digital Inheritance Poll

In today’s digital age, securing your digital legacy is of paramount importance. We conducted a poll on x.com asking the community, ‘How important is securing your digital legacy to you?’ An overwhelming 80% of respondents answered that it is extremely important. This response underscores the growing awareness and concern about digital inheritance. As our lives become increasingly intertwined with digital assets, from social media accounts to cryptocurrency holdings, ensuring that these assets are protected and can be passed on to loved ones is essential. Proper digital inheritance planning not only safeguards valuable information but also provides peace of mind, knowing that one’s digital footprint will be responsibly managed and preserved for future generations.

Inheriti® 2.0 Audit

The audit for Inheriti® 2.0 has been finalized and all feedback from the audit company has been thoroughly processed. The audit is done by Red4Sec, an international cybersecurity firm that provides services in ethical hacking and security auditing. The results have met our high standards, and we are happy with the outcome. In addition, we have commenced the audit for SafeKey Mobile. We anticipate that the results will be available at the beginning of July. These steps underscore our commitment to ensuring the security and reliability of our products.

Inheriti® 2.0 Update

We are working hard to make Inheriti® 2.0 better, with a smoother user interface. This includes adjustments to margins, whitespace, buttons, icons, and typography. Our focus is on creating a clean and intuitive design that users will find easy to navigate.

We are including an extra security feature as suggested by the audit company, to create additional assurance that only the mobile shareholder has access to their encrypted share.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Encryption of Mobile Shares: The share of the mobile user is encrypted with a secret key.
  2. QR Code Distribution: A QR code, containing the key, is sent to the email of the mobile shareholder.
  3. Claiming the Share: Once the user has claimed their mobile share using the SafeKey Mobile app, they need to scan the QR code received via email to verify ownership of their share.

We are also organizing customer support to ensure our users receive timely and efficient assistance. To better educate and inform them, we are producing explanatory and educational videos. We are finalizing the new Inheriti® website and next month, we will update the new Inheriti® logo to the Safe Haven merchandise website.

In terms of compliance, Ernst & Young is reviewing our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, ensuring we meet the highest standards of legal and ethical practices.

Get ready, because Inheriti® 2.0 will soon see the daylight!

Inheriti® 2.0 Beta Testing

We’ve entered the final phase of beta testing, known as the private beta testing phase. Our beta testers explore and intensively test all Inheriti®’s features. From creating Data Backup and Digital Inheritance plans with single or multiple beneficiaries, different sort of data input and activation triggers, and the selection of the method of storage of the plan shares. Up to merging plan shares, with single or multiple beneficiaries and using SafeKey Pro or the new SafeKey Mobile app for storage on your mobile device. The feedback of the beta testers is instrumental in identifying areas for improvement and fine-tuning existing features. We would like to thank all our beta testers for their valuable input and support so far.

The beta testing focuses on Inheriti’s three USPs: Quality, Safety and Ease-of-use. We want Inheriti® to meet the highest standards of quality, ensure our users’ confidential information is protected at all times (and that it is also experienced that way), and a user interface and overall user experience as intuitive and user-friendly as possible.

Safe Haven takes user feedback very seriously. We are dedicated to constantly improving and optimizing Inheriti® to provide the best service possible to our customers, also after launch. We want Inheriti® to be a top-of-the-line platform that meets the needs and expectations of our community and users.

Marketing Update

The preparation for the marketing and PR campaign for the upcoming Inheriti® 2.0 launch is going according to plan. Further updates to follow as we get closer to the actual launch date.

We are in the process of implementing the technological infrastructure to power our – soon to be launched – Affiliate & Ambassador program and are in ongoing discussions to onboard more partners to the program, this program will play a big part in the rollout of Inheriti® 2.0. So if you know of anybody (can be companies, influencers or media owners) that you think would be a great fit; let us know!

We are also in the process of creating some exciting campaigns to reward our community for their support and engagement in the upcoming launch, keep an eye on our social channels for more updates on this.

Every day we get closer to what is probably the most exciting step in Inheriti®’s journey!
