Development Update 2024/07

Back to news

As we approach the highly anticipated release of Inheriti® 2.0, we’re excited to share the latest updates and developments with our community. Our team has been diligently working to refine and enhance the platform, and we are delighted to provide an overview of the significant strides we’ve made.

Marketing Update

We’re nearing the final stages of the preparations for the upcoming Inheriti® 2.0 launch – we have made great progress with the development of all the different marketing material, the integrations of marketing technology that will drive and support our community marketing and ambassador program.

The infrastructure that powers our marketing efforts will help us in onboarding ambassadors, media partners but also support a – soon to be launched – community marketing campaign. With the launch of our flagship product Inheriti® 2.0 we will be doing a number of giveaways, AMA’s, product showcases and more. We look forward to rewarding our loyal community with a number of generous and exciting rewards, keep your eyes open for more details about this in the near future.

Last month we updated everybody on the progress of our Ambassador and Affiliate program; now that we’re finalizing the integration of the technical infrastructure to support the program we want to again invite you to share anybody you can think of that should join the program – or reach out if you think you should join!

Inheriti® 2.0 Update

Inheriti® Audit by Red4SEC

We are pleased to announce that Inheriti® has successfully undergone a thorough audit by the esteemed cybersecurity firm Red4sec. The audit confirmed that Inheriti® adheres to the highest standards of security and privacy, with no critical user information being stored. This validation underscores our commitment to protecting user data and ensuring the integrity of our platform. We are proud to provide our community with the assurance that Inheriti® operates with the utmost transparency and security.

Beta Testing

Our Inheriti® beta testing is in full swing and we’re currently in the public beta testing phase. At present, we have two active groups: the Public Beta Testing Group and the VIP Beta Testing Group. The Public Beta Testing Group comprises participants who applied via our form to thoroughly test Inheriti® until August 7th. Meanwhile, the VIP Beta Testing Group includes our esteemed executive partners and friends who will provide valuable feedback from a leadership and executive perspective.

Website

We have completed the first version of our new Inheriti® website, creating visuals for all pages and sections to ensure a cohesive and polished final product. All contact forms and documentation links have been added, making it easy for users to get in touch and access necessary information. We also incorporated feedback from the team to refine and enhance the overall user experience.

It’s important to note that our website is an ongoing project. We will continue to proofread, optimize, and work with copywriters to ensure the content remains fresh, accurate, and engaging. The website will keep evolving to better serve our users and meet their needs.

Affiliates

We have been working on creating an affiliate program for Inheriti®, a fantastic opportunity for our community, tech-savvy influencers, bloggers, YouTubers, and crypto enthusiasts to earn commissions by promoting our innovative digital inheritance and data backup solutions.

As an affiliate, you’ll gain exclusive access to our partner community, receive support for your marketing activities, and benefit from campaigns and marketing materials. This program allows you to monetize your content, provide extra value to your audience, and set up a passive income stream without the need to manage inventory or customer support.

You’ll also have direct contact with the Inheriti® team and access to dedicated brand materials.

Joining the Inheriti® Affiliate Program means working with a reputable company and established brand, reaching new audiences through targeted marketing efforts, and potentially receiving free demos for your audience to enhance your promotional efforts.

Knowledge Base for Inheriti®

We’ve been diligently working on a comprehensive Knowledge Base for Inheriti®. This dedicated resource will house all FAQs, tutorials, user guides, and other valuable information.

Designed for ease of use, the Knowledge Base will be searchable, allowing users to quickly find answers to their questions and access detailed guides.

Explainer Video “What is Inheriti®?”

The script for the Inheriti® explainer video has been finalized, and our video artist has completed the styleframe. Currently, the full storyboard is in progress. This video will provide a clear and concise overview of what Inheriti® is and how it works, helping newcomers quickly understand the platform.

Similar to the “What is SafeSwap” video we created for SafeSwap, this explainer video will serve as an effective introduction for new users.

Different Plan Sizes

We have introduced three different plan sizes to offer greater flexibility and cost-efficiency for our users. You can now choose a plan size that best fits your needs without paying for more than you use.

The options include a single data asset plan, a plan for multiple data assets with a maximum of 250 secret characters, and a plan for multiple data assets with a maximum of 500 secret characters.

This flexibility ensures you only pay for what you need, making our protection plans more accessible and affordable. The types of data assets you can add range from private keys and seed phrases to recovery codes, API keys, PIN codes, account login details, and payment card information. This allows you to tailor your protection plan based on your specific requirements.

Ownership Verification by SafeKey Mobile User or Inheriti®

Understanding how shares are distributed is crucial for ensuring security. When using a SafeKey Pro device, encrypted shares are distributed directly from your browser to your cold storage device, ensuring only you can access them.

For those using SafeKey Mobile, the shares are temporarily stored in the Inheriti® Vault before being claimed via the SafeKey Mobile app. To enhance security, we have added an extra feature where the mobile user’s share is encrypted with a secret key, and a QR code containing this key is sent to their email related to their SafeID. The mobile user must scan this QR code to verify ownership, ensuring that only they can access their share.

For users seeking a more convenient option, we have enabled a second verification method where Inheriti® handles the verification process in the background. This means that the mobile shareholder does not need to verify their share manually, it is verified by default upon claiming it through SafeKey Mobile. While this method simplifies the process for the mobile shareholder, it does require some level of trust in the Inheriti® platform.

Looking ahead, we plan to introduce a third verification option that involves legal entities conducting the verification. This upcoming feature will provide an additional layer of trust and assurance, catering to users who prefer a legal verification process.

This multi-tiered approach ensures flexibility and enhanced security, catering to different user preferences and trust levels.

Dynamic Blockhain Fees

Upon the launch of Inheriti® 2.0, three blockchains will be integrated, each with its own benefits and associated costs (gas fees). When choosing a blockchain for your protection plan, consider factors like speed, security, cost, and scalability.

Vechain is efficient and low-cost, making it suitable for businesses that need controlled data storage. Operating under San Marino’s jurisdiction, it can meet specific regulatory needs. Vechain will also be the blockchain that’s selected by default, and no additional fee will be charged.

Ethereum is highly secure and decentralized, ideal for sensitive data. However, it can become very expensive during periods of high network activity, as fees are calculated in real time.

Optimism provides the security of Ethereum but with lower costs and higher throughput by using layer 2 solutions. It follows U.S. regulations, which could be important for compliance.

Choose the blockchain that best fits your data storage needs and operational context.

General UI/UX improvements

We have been diligently working on general UI/UX improvements by processing internal and beta user feedback and optimizing various elements of the interface. This includes refining content and terminology, improving how explanations are phrased, and optimizing typography for better readability. We are also enhancing user flows, double-checking processes, and conducting extensive testing and debugging to ensure a smooth and intuitive user experience.

As with most aspects of development, this is an ongoing process. We will continue to iterate and refine the UI/UX to ensure Inheriti® 2.0 remains as user-friendly and efficient as possible.
