Blockchain Futurist Conference

Two team members, @cryptosvet_si and @AlexCSHAman, went to the Blockchain Futurist Conference in Canada, one of world’s leading blockchain conferences. They’ve been promoting Safe Haven and talked with a lot of interesting people and projects, like Spinterland, Hacken, NDAX, Telos and Hedera. With their VIP passes they had access to workshops, round tables and networking parties. Their conclusion: inheritance is hot and on top of mind of almost everybody they talked to. 👀 

AMA Chain Estate DAO 

The AMA with Chain Estate DAO has been uploaded to Cardinal House’s YouTube channel.

Topics: decentralized inheritance protocols, crosschain capabilities enabled by atomic swapping protocols, utilizing FundRequest to outsource web3 development via GitHub, establishing charity or ICO pools via ThorBlock, and many other interesting topics! 

SafeKey

There have been quite some questions in the community about SafeKeys lately.  

  • SafeKey is a cold-storage device utilized for storing Inheriti® plan shares and enabling FIDO2 features that permit passwordless entry to supported online platforms (2FA). Another unique feature enabled by the FIDO2 protocol is the prevention of fund withdrawal on FIDO2 supported exchanges; in essence, users can force FIDO2 enabled exchanges to require the SafeKey device to be connected to the platform for withdrawals.

The SafeKey branding and website is currently being revamped. The goal is to be a premium brand and make it more user-friendly, from a user perspective rather than a technical perspective. For example, user-guides are provided for each type of SafeKey model, with use cases for different audiences. Also, different bundle deals will be offered.

Interview with WeGotNext

Christian Hayes interviewed Tyler Doussan about the recent developments and partnerships made by Safe Haven. 

Topics: mass adoption of Inheriti® and integration methodology, how the atomic swapping protocols of SafeSwap prove to be superior to bridges utilizing wrapped tokens, the importance of strategic building during economic pullbacks, Metaverse Protection Packages, and an introduction to the Shamanic Oracles NFT collection.

Technical Development Update

SafeSwap Swap Fee Display 

As announced in the FF last week, SafeSwap now shows the total swap fees upfront, next to each supported chain selector. No need to connect your wallet anymore before you can see the fees. Although SafeSwap works with the lowest amount of fees possible, the fees on the Ethereum blockchain are very dynamic and good to keep an eye on. 

Community Engagement Update

Shamanic Oracles Chakra NFT Snapshot

On Monday, August 8th, a snapshot of all wallets staking Shamanic Oracles was taken to record the total amount of Chakra NFTs to be rewarded to users. There will be one more snapshot on August 22nd, and after the staking pool has ended all Chakra NFTs will be airdropped to the wallets eligble for rewards. 

VeChain Wide Smash Karts Tournament 

Everybody joining the Smash Karts Tournament today, especially in team Safe Haven 😜, have fun and go get them! 

Shine a Light 

This week we shine an extra light on a tweet explaining why we choose VeChain as our native chain. Although with SafeSwap we are officially cross chain, we still feel very connected to the VeChain blockchain and the projects on it 💜
