Wallets Supported By SafeSwap V1 - Safe Haven

Wallets Supported By SafeSwap V1

Back to news

Yesterday we’ve shared a list of blockchains supported by SafeSwap V1.

But as you know, SafeSwap wants to be a cross-chain bridge with a great and intuitive UI and UX. Therefore, in addition to integrating as many blockchains as possible, we’ll also integrate as many wallets we can.

Our goal in supporting multiple wallets will remove barriers to use and lower the learning curve for end-users.

Let’s take a look at the wallets we’ve already managed to integrate in SafeSwap V1.

What Type Of Wallets Are Supported By SafeSwap V1?

The integrated wallets will typically be one of two types:

Decentralized Wallets

To ensure no custody parties are involved other than the owner.

Custodial Hybrid Wallets

Wallets that pass Safe Haven’s vigorous internal security expectations.

Please feel free to reach out to us to discuss your own requests.

WalletConnect

WalletConnect is the web3 standard to connect blockchain wallets to dapps. Any Wallet. Any Dapp. Any Chain.

WalletConnect is an open-source protocol that allows your wallet to connect and interact with DApps and other wallets. By scanning a QR code or clicking a deep link, WalletConnect establishes an encrypted connection between your wallet and the DApp.

The protocol also has push notification capabilities to notify users of incoming transactions. You might have seen WalletConnect in Android or iOS mobile wallets like Trust Wallet and MetaMask.

The main advantage and purpose of Sync2 is the massive simplification of dApps and dApp usage. All editions of Sync2, no matter whether the native app built for desktop or mobile or the automatically invoked SPA version, are designed to appear and function pretty much in the same way, therefore providing a consistent and comfortable user experience for users across different OS and devices.
