Flash Development Update [2023/44]

Back to news

Is adoption around the corner?

Over in Switzerland, one of the big names in banking, St. Galler Kantonalbank, is stepping into the crypto ring. They’re rolling out Bitcoin and Ethereum trading services for some of their clients.

More coins might even be on the horizon, which just goes to show how digital currencies continue to capture the attention of traditional financial giants.

That’s pretty neat for us in the crypto community.

In other news: Sam Bankman-Fried is once again behind bars in a New York federal prison following a guilty verdict on all seven counts in his criminal trial. Despite the conviction, his legal team insists that this isn’t the end of the road, signaling that they’re not ready to throw in the towel just yet.

We’ll see where this goes!

Through the highs and lows of the industry, we’re keeping our eyes on the prize here at Safe Haven. Staying true to our course, we’ve been busy building and refining, ensuring that our community stays ahead of the curve with secure and user-centered solutions.

Let’s dive in to what happened this week! 👇

Winner of Startup Stage Weekly Voting

First, let’s talk about the big win of this week.

Thanks to your support, we dominated the voting at Startup Stage, hitting the top spot with a whopping 70 votes! This win isn’t just about being number one for the week, but it also means we’ve secured a place among the top five of all time.

It’s huge!

As a reward, we’re getting spotlight features across Startup Stage’s blog, podcast, newsletter, and their social media platforms.

Big shout-out to every single SHAman who voted and a special thanks to those who went the extra mile with their comments!

Your voices were heard loud and clear, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

First Week of Comet 2.0

Last week we launched the public beta of Comet 2.0, our self-custodial wallet for vechain (and soon to be multichain). We’ve poured a lot of effort into making this version far superior to its predecessor.

Comet 1.0 served us well, but let’s face it, it was starting to show its age. Comet 2.0, on the other hand, is all about being intuitive, fast and most importantly, ready to give you access to Web3.

Adding Comet to your browser is a piece of cake.

Visit this link and just click to install the extension, and voilà, you’re ready to go.

But, remember it’s still in beta. We’re counting on your feedback to help us tweak and improve. Your input is incredibly valuable, it’s what will shape the future versions of Comet.

So, if you haven’t already, give Comet 2.0 a try and let us know what you think.

We’re all ears for your insights and suggestions!

November Staking Program

Moving on to staking, our November’s staking program’s loading period is ticking.

You’ve got until November 5th to get in on the action. Our staking tiers, Harbor, Consensus, and Legacy, are already bursting at the seams with over 75% capacity, guaranteeing an extra 1% APR for stakers.

We’ve also already reached over 80% of the total staked amount from October.

With two days left, it’s your last chance to jump in. Don’t miss out and get your tokens working for you before the window closes on Sunday!

So that’s a wrap for this week. It’s been a busy one, for sure.

We clinched the top spot at Startup Stage, thanks to the overwhelming support from you all. Seriously, a big thank you to everyone who voted.

And the staking program is really taking off. It’s great to see so many of you getting on board.

But there’s no time to slow down. We’re already getting back to work. Our focus is now on making sure the integration with Optimism for SafeSwap is smooth and getting Inheriti® 2.0 ready to roll out.

Your support means everything to us. Every vote, every token staked, it all adds up and pushes us forward. We’re excited about what we’ve got lined up and we can’t wait to share it with you!

Thanks for sticking around and enjoy your weekend SHAman! 🔮🧙‍♂️
