Flash Friday Once a Month

We remain steadfast in our intention of providing our community with up-to-date and sufficient information about the progress of Safe Haven and its products. To be sure we match expectations well, we initiated a vote to determine how frequently the community would like to receive Flash Friday Development updates. The community voted, with “Monthly updates” securing a 33% majority. Based on this outcome, the team has decided to publish Flash Development updates once a month, on the last Friday of each month.

We combine this with the 20% vote for announcements when specific progress has been made or when there is other news to share.

Milestones 2023

Safe Haven’s first 5 years were mostly about building technical and business fundamentals. The phase we entered this year shifts focus to building more utility, growing accessibility, being omnipresent and creating smooth user experiences for both Web2 and Web3 users.

Our journey through 2023 has shown our commitment, marked by significant advancements and strategic evolutions. Roadmap 2024

We were pleased to share our Roadmap 2024. We have created a realistic plan that could potentially lead us to achieve beyond what has been outlined. Our Roadmap does not encompass our internal goals for 2024. For instance, our dedication to internal professionalization, specifically in the realm of regulatory compliance, and the expansion of our team are significant endeavors that are not explicitly detailed. Similarly, our commitment to the community extends far beyond what is depicted in the Roadmap. Nonetheless, we hope that you can sense our unwavering dedication to the benefit of our community and SHA holders in everything we undertake.

Like all roadmaps, this one will inevitably be influenced by the ever-changing circumstances and unexpected challenges that may emerge in 2024. After five years in the crypto world, we are confident that we will be able to bring this year to a successful conclusion.

Inheriti® Update

Have we got news for you!

Inheriti® 2.0 will be released with SafeKey Mobile integration from the start. Besides the rebranding we introduced a couple of months ago, and a more customer friendly wording. This new feature allows users to conveniently store their Inheriti® plan shares on their mobile devices with the SafeKey Mobile app.

But that’s not all – we’re releasing Stripe integration ahead of schedule!

With Stripe integration, customers can now pay for an Inheriti® plan using traditional fiat currency. Our utility token SHA will continue to power the backend of the Inheriti® platform. This means customers don’t need to worry about purchasing SHA on a cryptocurrency exchange or dealing with wallets and exchanging crypto tokens. This move significantly improves the accessibility of Inheriti®, making it available to a wider audience.

Also, we are releasing something else ahead of schedule.

The introduction of Inheriti® 2.0 brings yet another new feature, allowing users to receive notifications triggered bij the dead man switch via SMS, including a link directly to the Inheriti® platform. Up to now, the initiator could choose between an email with a text that he need to login into the platform to show he is still alive, or an email including a link directly entering the Inheriti® platform. With SMS notifications, there is no longer a need to continuously be in contact with your email account. This expansion gives the customer more freedom of choice and improves customer convenience.

We are currently in the testing phase for the Inheriti® API and Inheriti® Vault (the backend of Inheriti®), and are in the process of setting up the preproduction environment on AWS.

Another Team Expansion

In January, we had the pleasure of welcoming another seasoned full stack developer to our team. With more than a decade of experience, including a strong background in mobile development. This expansion of the team strengthens our capacity and targeted use of our team members’ talents and expertise further.

We are very much looking forward to having him on board!

SafeSwap on Base

Our atomic swapping platform, SafeSwap, has recently been featured on the Base Ecosystem at https://base.org/ecosystem. This listing provides a thorough overview of various apps and integrations within the Base ecosystem, specifically highlighting SafeSwap under the Bridge section. For those unfamiliar, Base stands out as a secure, low-cost, and builder-friendly Ethereum Layer 2 solution designed to facilitate the onboarding of the next billion users onto the blockchain. It serves as the on-chain home for Coinbase products, users, and assets while fostering an open ecosystem for developers to contribute. Users and builders alike can leverage Coinbase’s developer tools to simplify the building process and connect with the extensive user base on Coinbase. We are excited about this recognition and look forward to further collaborations within the Base ecosystem.

Marketing Preparations

We are currently in the process of planning our marketing efforts. While there isn’t much to share at the moment, we hope / expect to be able to provide more information about our approach and the initial activities next month.
However, we can share that our marketing strategy will include a high-quality outreach campaign aiming at positioning Safe Haven as a thought leader in inheritance issues. This campaign will be one of the primary focus and will serve as the foundation for future product-specific marketing efforts.

Demonstration Day on Optimism

The upcoming Demo Day at Optimism is fast approaching, currently scheduled in just 15 days. We invite you to join us for a 20 minutes demonstration of the working and benefits of SafeSwap including a Q&A, for builders and users on Optimism. During the 1 hour demostrations, there will be two other projects demonstrating their new tool also.

As the date of the event approaches, mark your calendar for 4:00 PM (UTC) on February 8th. This opportunity provides a reassuring experience, allowing you to gain valuable insight and understand the unique benefits offered by our innovative solutions. Our team has recently welcomed a skilled member dedicated to crafting engaging and educational content across written, visual, and digital media. This exciting addition has spurred the inception of Safe Haven Academy, a newly launched program tailored to provide educational resources, tutorials, and training in video format. Recognizing the significance of educational content for both our users and partners, we take pride in introducing our latest tutorial, which offers a step-by-step guide on utilizing SafeSwap between BNB chain and vechain. These insightful videos will be regularly published on our Safe Haven YouTube channel, ensuring accessibility to a wide audience seeking comprehensive guidance on various aspects of our platform and services.
