Development Update 2026/01

Back to news

This month’s development update marks an important step in the evolution of Inheriti®. Alongside continued support for the SafeNode ecosystem, the focus has shifted toward laying the foundations for a more modular, developer-driven future with the introduction of Inheriti® Elements. These changes reflect a broader move toward scalable, non-custodial trust infrastructure while maintaining continuity for the existing community.

Inheriti® Elements SDK

This month, we introduced the Inheriti® Elements SDK, a developer-first toolkit designed to embed non-custodial, cryptographically enforced trust directly into applications. Elements targets teams building secure SaaS platforms, digital asset vaults, key management and recovery flows, WebAuthn/FIDO-based authentication, and decentralized or hybrid trust architectures. Rather than acting as a black box, the SDK exposes modular security primitives that developers can compose and adapt to their own systems. Built on SSDP and Shamir’s Secret Sharing, Elements is non-custodial by design and engineered for zero-trust, multi-party control across cloud, client, mobile, and HSM environments. Integration is intentionally lightweight via a clean JavaScript SDK, enabling security to be treated as a first-class architectural component rather than an afterthought.

Trust Designed for Developers and Platforms

The release of Inheriti® Elements marks a strategic evolution of Inheriti®—from a standalone product into a modular trust infrastructure that can be embedded anywhere. Instead of delivering security through a closed platform, Inheriti now exposes its core cryptographic capabilities as reusable, composable building blocks. This shift allows Inheriti® to scale beyond a single use case, supporting a wide range of applications across SaaS, digital custody, authentication, and recovery workflows. It also represents a move from a purely consumer oriented solution to a developer-driven, B2B-focused ecosystem, while maintaining the same non-custodial and zero-trust principles at its core. With Elements, trust becomes programmable, verifiable, and native to system design, positioning Inheriti as an infrastructure layer rather than just a product.

Working with B2B Partners

In parallel with the SDK launch, we are actively collaborating with B2B partners to integrate Inheriti® Elements into their existing systems and platforms. These integrations focus on embedding non-custodial trust primitives directly into production workflows, including secure data protection, access control, key recovery, and identity-related use cases. By working closely with partners throughout implementation, we ensure that Elements integrates cleanly into diverse technical stacks while meeting strict security, compliance, and operational requirements. This hands-on approach allows us to validate the SDK in real-world environments, refine integration patterns, and accelerate adoption—bringing Inheriti Elements from concept to enterprise-grade deployment.

SafeNode Staking Program 2026

We are happy to announce that SafeNode staking will continue in 2026 as a token of appreciation to our loyal community and the SHA holders. This will remain in effect until the Node reward pool is sufficiently filled, or until there are technical reasons to pause the program. While the SafeNode application is becoming outdated, the long-term plan is to seamlessly integrate the SafeNode app into the Inheriti® platform for a more streamlined experience. We are committed to supporting our community throughout this transition and will continue to keep you informed as we move forward.

Urgent Action Required for Node Holders

To stay eligible for the end of the year 2026 node reward distribution, it’s crucial to regularly check your node status and claim the 3-month tier in the SafeNode app.  Also, keep your eyes peeled on our social media channels for upcoming posts and announcements about yearly rewards.

This is your chance to ensure you don’t miss out on the rewards—take action now before it’s too late!
