Flash Development Update [2023/30]

Back to news

Time flies, and we’ve already passed another week!

As we mentioned in our last Flash Friday update, the development of Inheriti® 2.0 is still in full swing (and it’s likely to continue like that for a while).

And guess what?

Our CEO is just as pumped up about it as we are!

Take a look at the tweet he shared:

Besides Inheriti®, a lot more is brewing behind the scenes here at Safe Haven and SafeTech.

There are so many great developments happening with Comet, SafeSwap, SafeKey Mobile, and so much more!

We understand your curiosity, and rest assured, we’ll share all the details at the perfect moment!

But for now, let’s first jump into what took place this week.👇

Inheriti® 2.0 – Beyond Digital Inheritance

Since Inheriti® still takes most of our time at this point, let’s kick off this week’s FF with some deeper insights.

As many of you know, Inheriti® and Safe Haven, in general, began as a powerful solution for digital inheritance. It’s a platform designed to safeguard your digital assets and ensure that your legacy lives on even after you’re gone.

But here’s the thing – the patented Secure Share Distribution Protocol (SSDP) that powers Inheriti® is capable of so much more than just digital inheritance. It opens up a world of possibilities and offers countless potential use cases beyond what we initially imagined.

That’s why we’ve been working diligently to explore and expand Inheriti® 2.0 beyond its traditional boundaries. We’ve been investigating various use cases to make the most out of the capabilities of SSDP.

In fact, we’ve put together a comprehensive thread and article that delves into four major use cases that will be coming to Inheriti® 2.0.

We invite you all to check out the article and dive into the potential of Inheriti® 2.0 to see how it’s not just about digital inheritance anymore.

Comet 2.0 – Approaching Final Stages

As you are all aware, we’ve been hard at work fine-tuning the Comet 2.0 wallet, incorporating valuable feedback from our test-users, and significantly improving its overall performance.

We’re now almost approaching the final stages before launch: a security audit.

Your security and peace of mind remain our top priorities, so to ensure that Comet 2.0 meets the highest standards of security and reliability, we have scheduled a comprehensive security audit for August.

During this process, independent experts will thoroughly review the platform’s codebase and security measures, making certain that your valuable digital assets are safeguarded to the fullest extent.

We fully understand the importance of simplicity and convenience when it comes to managing your digital assets. With Comet 2.0, you can look forward to a seamless and user-friendly experience for storing your SHA and other vechain tokens.

The Advantages of Atomic Swaps for Cross-Chain Tokenization

SafeSwap holds a tremendous power, the ability to perform atomic cross-chain swaps.

But what does that mean, and why would developers or project owners choose atomic swaps for the cross-chain tokenization of their projects?

We’ve prepared an enlightening thread and an in-depth article that sheds light on precisely that!

It delves into the numerous advantages of utilizing atomic swaps for cross-chain tokenization.

For example: atomic swaps pave the way for seamless scaling of your userbase and unlock new dimensions of native token composability.

With atomic swaps, you can securely transfer native tokens across different blockchains, making your project accessible to a broader audience.

It enables seamless interoperability between different blockchain networks, creating a bridge for native tokens and assets to move effortlessly between chains.

To learn more about the advantages of atomic swaps for cross-chain tokenization, we invite you to check out our detailed article and thread.

It’s an eye-opening read that showcases the potential of SafeSwap and its role in shaping the future of Web3 👇

SafeSwap (Almost) Listed on Magic Square

SafeSwap is making its way to the Web3 appstore, Magic Square!

We are pleased to announce that SafeSwap has successfully passed the pre-approval step in the Magic Store Validation process. Magic Square stands as the gateway to Web3. Through the Magic Store, we offer traditional Web2 users and builders the ability to get acquinted with the benefits and functionality of SafeSwap, our cross chain atomic swapping protocol that’s changing the game for interoperability of tokens and dapps by transferring native tokens across chains.

With your invaluable support, SafeSwap will proudly become the first vechain project to feature in Magic Square’s appstore.

This achievement not only showcases SafeSwap’s capabilities but also marks a significant milestone for the VeChain community. Having SafeSwap on Magic Square means VeChain will be listed among the available blockchains there.

We are now progressing to the Community-Validation Step, which will commence on Thursday, August 3rd, and run for 14 days until August 17th. During this period, your active participation is crucial. If we receive 60% or more “YES” votes from the community, we will be granted an official “Validated” Badge on the Magic Store.

You have the power to participate in the voting process. We encourage you to become Qualified Validators by opening a Magic Store account, connecting your EVM Wallet, verifying your email, and choosing a username. Once you’ve completed these steps, you can access the voting for our project through our App Page or via your Profile Area. There, you will find an “App Validation” button to locate our project and participate in the voting.

To help you prepare for the voting, they have set up a Galxe Campaign where you can participate and vote on a “Demo Proposal” while gaining access to special rewards from Magic Square (with no contribution needed from you). Participating in the Galxe Demo Validation Campaign is optional but comes with additional rewards and benefits for you.

To ensure that no one in our community misses the validation slot, we encourage you to open your accounts now and participate in the demo validation. This way, everything will be ready and clear when the validation voting starts. If you wish to participate in the Galxe Campaign, please use this link to join the Demo Introduction Campaign. Alternatively, if you prefer not to participate in the Galxe Campaign, simply open an account at the Magic Store, connect your EVM Wallet, verify your email, and choose a username. You can then participate in the Demo Validation through this link, ensure that everything works, and patiently wait for our Validation Voting to start.

Let’s make SafeSwap’s listing on Magic Square a reality together!
