Technical Development Update

Comet Extension

As most of you know by now, Comet V1 became deprecated and is currently not available for new users to download. If you have Comet already installed, it should still work fine.

In the meantime, development for Comet V2 already started and the first tests and feedback rounds are already being ran internally. We expect to be able to relaunch the massively improved version of Comet —for the VeChain network to begin with.

It’s our goal to make Comet the primary vehicle to navigate through the Safe Haven ecosystem and Web3 in general.

Community Engagement Update

Flash Friday around New Year

To give ourselves a bit of a break as well, we decided to skip the FF on December 30th. Future updates will resume in the form of weekly reports from January 6th and onwards.

Shine a light

Andy Demeulemeester, COO and Co-Founder, stopped by a community members house to hand-deliver their SafeKey order with a nice surprise. Memories as such are to be cherished for a lifetime, and it was a pleasure for Andy to meet such a loyal member from within our community — Ian has been an OG node holder from the start!

Our team notified CZ that we have already solved the solution to digital inheritance while encouraging him to join us in spreading Inheriti® across the world to mitigate risks.

A community member (@JustSeasick) declares they will start the new year with an Inheriti plan, so we congratulated them on the resolution to secure their family digital legacy!

Future Winners of Events

To make the distribution of prizes amongst winners of future events more unified and smooth, our technical and marketing team worked together to create a landing page on the Safe Haven website that prompts users to input data for receiving deserved rewards. All future winners will be emailed a link to fill their form out for reward claims — it is up to the winner to check their spam folder and complete the reward claim form. Please take notice that we will not send reminder emails and the rewards needs to be claimed within a 1-month time frame.

Sticker Pack Design Contest

We have decided to discontinue the Sticker Pack Design Contest until the new year. We did not receive enough submittals to reward all prizes, and the objective was to have ample designs to choose from, so we will move the contest to another quarter for next year — our team believes with the market being down, overall engagement across social media for all projects is less, plus it is the holidays so not many people have time to design on short notice. For those of you who have been working on designs, save them because we will be bringing the event back when activity in the community picks back up!
